He has mentored more than 50 practices nationwide and is frequently invited to speak at national dental meetings on business development, organizational culture, and the future of private practice.
In 2018, Dr. Toback launched Resolute Dental Partners, a family of doctor-owned practices designed to protect clinical autonomy while providing the strategic support needed to thrive in today’s evolving dental landscape. As CEO, he continues to shape a values-driven, doctor-led model of practice partnership that balances operational excellence with long-term vision.
A board-certified periodontist, Dr. Toback has maintained a thriving clinical practice at Shoreline Periodontics since 1998. He holds a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut, where he received the Award for Excellence in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, and completed advanced periodontal training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Toback is also an assistant clinical professor at the UConn School of Dental Medicine and a sought-after educator and lecturer in implantology, bone regeneration, and full-arch rehabilitation. He is a member of the McGuire Institute, a network of elite clinicians conducting collaborative research in periodontology and implant dentistry, and the recipient of the 2017 AAP Clinical Research Award for his contribution to a landmark multicenter trial on ridge preservation.
In 2006, he was invited to join the Society for Contemporary and Progressive Periodontists (SCPP), a select national group focused on the critical evaluation of clinical protocols, data integration, and emerging technologies. He also holds leadership positions in multiple professional organizations, including the Southern Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Connecticut Society of Periodontists.
Whether in the operatory, practice success meetings, or classroom, he is committed to redefining what’s possible in dentistry through purpose-driven leadership, strategic growth, and clinical excellence.
